Single Vineyard/Limited Production
2006 Gorey Gewurztraminer

We often find ourselves drawing inspiration from the great, sometimes forgotten artisans of the ages. Like our hero Edward Gorey, who put a different twist on children's tales, we've paddled away from the mainstream with this offering. Inspired by the winemakers of Alsace who know that this varietal – when not cloyingly sweet – can knock the wind out of you, we're thrilled to present this dry Gewurztraminer. Judging by the nose, which is filled with scents of honeysuckle, lychee and meyer lemon, you wouldn't know it's dry, but with balanced acidity, this wine finishes crisp and clean. Vive la difference!
