Roshambo
2005 Imago Chardonnay

Years ago we asked ourselves, "Why the hell would you oak a chardonnay?" We like our fruit to smell and taste like, well, fruit – not butter. Go figure. And with our stainless steel fermentation we have freed the juice from its oaky cocoon. The old, tired form is left behind as the prettiest expression of chardonnay emerges. Rich in the tropical flavors of white peaches and golden pineapples, honeyed Bosc pears and Lemon Zest, this wine will make you flap your wings so get ready to fly. The metamorphosis of California chardonnay is complete.
